Intentsly vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator: Finding or Acting?
Sales Navigator is the search and InMail layer on top of LinkedIn's own graph; Intentsly watches LinkedIn for the people engaging right now and lets an AI SDR run the conversation. This page takes Sales Navigator's side from LinkedIn's plan and feature pages opened today, and says where each one is the wrong buy.
Intentsly vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a choice between finding and acting. Sales Navigator is LinkedIn's prospecting layer: filters over the member graph, saved lead lists with alerts, InMail, and on the higher plans company-level Buyer Intent and CRM sync. Intentsly watches LinkedIn for the named people engaging with competitor and industry posts this week, scores them against your ideal customer profile, and its AI SDR sends the messages, answers the replies and books the meeting. Buy Sales Navigator to search and research; buy Intentsly to get the conversation done.
Everything about Sales Navigator below comes from LinkedIn's own plan and feature pages, opened on 29 October 2026, with a link on each claim. LinkedIn's help centre refuses automated reading, so nothing from it is quoted; where a detail lives only there, this page says so instead of guessing. Everything about Intentsly comes from what the product does today, limits included. If the difference between "a company is showing interest" and "this person engaged this morning" is new to you, what intent data is and where it comes from explains it in five minutes; this page compares the two products.

Three rows decide most purchases: where the leads come from, who sends the message, and what happens on a reply. The next two sections take them in turn, starting with the jobs Sales Navigator does and Intentsly does not.
Where is LinkedIn Sales Navigator the better choice?
Sales Navigator does a long list of things Intentsly does not attempt. If any of these is why you are shopping, Intentsly is the wrong pick.
You need to search. Sales Navigator's core job is finding people by filter across LinkedIn's whole graph: "50+ filters" over "1+ billion members", with Personas to encode your ideal customer and lead recommendations that learn from what you save (Sales Navigator page). Intentsly has no search box. It finds people from what they do on LinkedIn, so if nobody in your market is engaging this week, Intentsly shows you nobody. Sales Navigator will still show you the list.
You research accounts before you reach out. Account IQ and Lead IQ produce AI summaries of a company's priorities and a person's background before a call, and Relationship Explorer finds the decision-maker and the warm path through your network (Sales Navigator page). Intentsly scores a prospect against your ICP and tells you why they surfaced; it does not write you an account plan.
You sell as a team. TeamLink reveals shared connections across the sales team, team lists come with shared-activity alerts, and the plans include seat management and centralised billing (Sales Navigator page). Intentsly runs up to two LinkedIn sender accounts per workspace. It is built for a founder or a small outbound desk, not a twenty-rep floor.
Your CRM is Salesforce, Dynamics or Oracle. On Advanced Plus, Sales Navigator syncs with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle, creates leads and contacts in the CRM directly, and embeds in those CRMs (Premium vs Sales Navigator). Intentsly integrates natively with HubSpot, Cal.com, Google Calendar and LinkedIn, and supports export; it lists no Salesforce, Dynamics or Oracle connection.
You want to reach strangers without a connection request. InMail is the one way to message a LinkedIn member you are not connected to without waiting for an accept, and Sales Navigator gives 50 credits a month (Premium vs Sales Navigator). Intentsly's AI SDR sends connection requests and messages from your profile; it has no InMail.
You want to know who is reading what you share. Smart Links let you send content and see who opened it, and the Advanced Plus content-engagement alerts tell you when decision-makers interact with your posts or ads (Sales Navigator page). Intentsly watches engagement on other people's posts (competitors, industry leaders, keywords, hashtags), not on yours.
You already pay for Premium. A Sales Navigator subscription includes the Premium Business features, so for a seller who wants the profile and networking tools too, one subscription covers both (Premium vs Sales Navigator). Intentsly is a separate tool that sits beside whatever LinkedIn plan you hold.
Where is Intentsly the better choice?
The lead gets an answer without you. This is the row to weigh first. Sales Navigator ends at the send: you pick the person, you write the InMail or the connection note (Message Assist helps draft), and when the reply lands you answer it in your inbox. None of LinkedIn's pages opened today describes anything answering the prospect for you. In Intentsly, the AI SDR holds the LinkedIn conversation in your place and sends your Cal.com or Google Calendar link so the lead books the meeting. If your inbox is the bottleneck rather than your list, this is the difference.
We ran this on ourselves at launch: our own signals and AI SDR, targeting founders who posted about cold outreach burnout, booked 14 qualified demos in 14 days with zero manual outreach, and the reply rate was 4x our previous cold campaigns. Most of those leads came from signals caught in real time rather than from a saved search.
You want the person, not the company. Sales Navigator's Buyer Intent, in LinkedIn's own words, shows "which companies are actively showing interest" (Sales Navigator page). That is account-level, and it sits on the Advanced plan and above. Intentsly's signals say a named person liked your competitor's post this morning, commented on a thread about the problem you solve, started following a competitor's page, or posted about the keyword you track. When you would otherwise be opening the competitor's post every morning and copying the names of the people who engaged, LinkedIn signals is the feature that does that step for you and scores the result.
The trigger is behaviour, not a profile field. A Sales Navigator search returns everyone who matches the filters, whether they are in-market or not; alerts narrow that to events such as a job change (Sales Navigator page). Intentsly starts from the behaviour and works backwards to the profile. Which behaviours deserve a message is a separate question, and the free Buying Signal Playbook at /signal-playbook lists 12 worth chasing and 8 to ignore before you set either tool up.
A ceiling with a number on it. Intentsly caps each account at 30 messages and 30 connection requests a day and recommends 15. Sales Navigator's stated monthly number is 50 InMail credits (Premium vs Sales Navigator); connection requests and ordinary messages fall under LinkedIn's general limits, which the pages opened today do not state. Both tools run on your own profile and LinkedIn counts every action against it, whichever tool took it.
No per-seat licence to justify. Sales Navigator is priced per licence, and its own page frames the value per user: hours saved per user per year and a payback period, both from a Forrester study it cites (Sales Navigator page). That maths works for a rep who prospects daily. For a founder who sells two days a week, the seat is idle the other three; Intentsly's signals and AI SDR do not wait for you to log in, within the caps above.
Four outreach languages, stated. Intentsly monitors and writes in English, Romanian, German and Dutch. LinkedIn's page says Sales Navigator is "available in seven languages" and that Lead IQ, Account IQ and AI drafting are offered "in select languages" without naming them (Sales Navigator page), so ask before you assume either way.
You can see your buyers before you sign up. /try-ai shows people matching your profile who are engaging on LinkedIn right now, with no account. Sales Navigator's trial needs a card and is closed to anyone on a paid LinkedIn plan or who trialled in the past 365 days (compare plans).
What does each tool cost?
LinkedIn's compare-plans page, opened on 29 October 2026, lists Core from US$119.99 a month or US$1,079.88 a year, Advanced from US$159.99 a month or US$1,799.88 a year, and Advanced Plus at custom pricing based on team size, CRM integration and onboarding needs, bought through LinkedIn's sales team. The page calls the annual saving 25% on Core and 6% on Advanced, says the figures are estimates that may exclude VAT or GST and promotions, and warns that prices may change (compare plans). Check that page for your currency; it lists AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP as well.
Four rules on that page change the real cost. An annual plan cancelled mid-term ends at the close of the paid year, a monthly plan at the end of the current month. The free trial of Core or Advanced requires a credit card, LinkedIn emails a reminder seven days before it ends, and members already on any paid LinkedIn subscription or who used a LinkedIn trial in the past 365 days are not eligible. Some features carry the footnote "if purchased through a sales representative", so the online plan and the sold plan are not identical (compare plans). Core is described as "best for individual sellers who want to find high-quality leads and build client relationships"; Buyer Intent and Smart Links start at Advanced, and CRM sync at Advanced Plus (Sales Navigator page).
Intentsly: see the pricing page. There is a 7-day free trial, setup is self-serve with no sales call, and you can cancel anytime.
The useful comparison is cost per booked meeting, not per seat. Sales Navigator's licence is the smaller part of its cost; the larger part is the person who runs the searches, writes the InMails, answers the replies and keeps the lists clean. Price that person's hours before you compare plans.
Can you use both?
Yes, and for a seller whose buyers live on LinkedIn this is the natural setup. Sales Navigator for the search, the account research, the team's shared connections and the CRM sync. Intentsly for the conversation: signals, scoring and the AI SDR sending from your profile. The two barely overlap on data; Sales Navigator reads profiles and company pages, Intentsly reads engagement on posts, keyword posts, hashtags and competitor pages.
Two practical notes. First, both act from the same LinkedIn account, and LinkedIn counts every connection request and message against that account whichever tool sent it. Intentsly's 30-a-day caps exist for that reason, so if the AI SDR is running, keep your own manual connection requests on that profile modest and use InMail, which is a separate credit pool, for the cold names that came from search. Second, decide who owns a thread. If a person surfaced in a signal and the AI SDR opened the conversation, do not also InMail them from Sales Navigator the same week; one voice per prospect. The seven-step signal-based outbound setup shows where each tool slots into the week.
A third option many teams miss: use Sales Navigator's saved searches to decide which competitors, industry voices and hashtags matter in your market, then give those to Intentsly as signal definitions. The search tells you where your buyers are; the signals tell you which of them moved this week.
Which should you pick?
If you need a search box over LinkedIn's whole graph, research accounts before you call, sell as a team with shared connections, sync to Salesforce, Dynamics or Oracle, want InMail to reach strangers, or want to see who opens the content you share: Sales Navigator. If your buyers show themselves by engaging with competitor and industry posts, you want the person who engaged rather than the company that is researching, and you want the reply answered and the meeting booked without you in the inbox: Intentsly. A seller who both searches and converses can run both, with a clear rule about which tool opens a thread.
Still unsure? The shortest test is to see your own buyers. Open /try-ai, which shows matching people engaging on LinkedIn right now, no account needed. If the list is thin, your buyers are not signalling and Sales Navigator's search is the better bet. If it is full, start the 7-day trial and let the AI SDR take the first conversations. Other pairings are on the compare index.
FAQ
Does LinkedIn Sales Navigator send outreach automatically?
No. On LinkedIn's own pages, Sales Navigator gives you 50 InMail credits a month, Message Assist to help draft, and alerts that tell you when to reach out; you send each message and answer each reply yourself (Premium vs Sales Navigator). Intentsly's AI SDR sends the connection request and the message and carries the thread to a booked meeting.
Is Sales Navigator's Buyer Intent the same as Intentsly's signals?
No. LinkedIn describes Buyer Intent as showing "which companies are actively showing interest", and it is available on Advanced and Advanced Plus (Sales Navigator page). Intentsly's signals are person-level: the individual who engaged with a competitor's post, a keyword post, a competitor page or a hashtag, scored against your ICP and handed to the AI SDR.
How much does LinkedIn Sales Navigator cost in 2026?
LinkedIn's compare-plans page, opened on 29 October 2026, lists Core from US$119.99 a month or US$1,079.88 a year, Advanced from US$159.99 a month or US$1,799.88 a year, and Advanced Plus at custom pricing through its sales team, with regional prices in AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP (compare plans). For Intentsly, see the pricing page; there is a 7-day free trial.
Can I cancel Sales Navigator at any time?
You can cancel, but the timing matters. LinkedIn's compare-plans page says an annual plan's cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid year and a monthly plan's at the end of the current month, and that a trial cancelled before it ends is not charged (compare plans). Intentsly is self-serve and cancel anytime.
Does Intentsly replace Sales Navigator?
Only for the part after the search. Intentsly does not search LinkedIn's graph, write account summaries, send InMail or sync to Salesforce. It finds the people engaging with competitor and industry posts, scores them, and has an AI SDR run the LinkedIn conversation and book the meeting. Teams that need both the search and the conversation run both tools on one profile.
Which CRMs does each tool connect to?
LinkedIn lists Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle for Sales Navigator, with CRM sync and lead creation limited to the Advanced Plus plan (Premium vs Sales Navigator). Intentsly integrates natively with HubSpot, plus Cal.com and Google Calendar for booking, and supports export of leads and signals. If HubSpot is your CRM, both tools can write to the same record.
