Trigify vs Valley: Which Trigify Jobs Valley Takes Over
Valley's own comparison with Trigify was written before Trigify's retirement notice and treats it as one product. Trigify had three modules. This page maps each one to what Valley does, from both vendors' pages opened on 22 October 2026, and names the jobs you still need another tool for.
Trigify vs Valley is a comparison between a signal feed and a reviewed outreach system. Trigify closes for standard customers at 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026. Valley covers the job most people used Trigify's Social Signals for, catching people who engage with competitor posts on LinkedIn, and adds the qualification, research and messaging Trigify never had. It does not replace Listening across Reddit, X, YouTube and podcasts, and it does not replace the Workflows builder that pushed posts into Clay, Sheets and Airtable.
Everything about Trigify below comes from trigify.io and its help centre, and everything about Valley from joinvalley.co, all opened on 22 October 2026, with a link on each claim. If Social Signals was your Trigify, this page is for you. If Listening or Workflows was, start with the Trigify alternatives hub, which sorts the replacements by job.
What is happening to Trigify?
On 23 September 2026, Trigify announced that its team is joining HubSpot and that the standalone platform is being retired. Standard customers keep access until 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026; customers with other contractual notice periods get their own dates directly. Accounts are not migrated to HubSpot, and for standard customers integrations, API access, monitoring and signal collection all stop when access ends.
The same page says to use the export options already in the product while you still have access, or to write to hugo@trigify.io for help. Final invoice, credit and refund details go to each customer directly; the page states no general policy, so do not assume one. Valley's own Valley vs Trigify post was published before this notice and still presents Trigify as a live option, which is why the comparison below starts from what Trigify did, module by module.
Trigify vs Valley at a glance
| Module or job | Trigify (per its help centre, 22 October 2026) | Valley (per joinvalley.co, 22 October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Engagement on competitor and industry posts (LinkedIn) | Social Signals: tracked profiles and companies, 16 signal types including likes and comments on tracked content, surfaced in a feed; profile caps per plan, none on Max and Enterprise (Set up Social Signals monitoring) | Yes: post engagers from your own posts and from competitors' posts, "on up to five monitored profiles" (LinkedIn post engagers page) |
| Other signal types | Role and company changes, hiring, posts and engagement on tracked topics, company initiatives (What is Social Signals?) | Four named audiences: replies to your lead magnets, companies hiring account executives, buyers complaining about competitors, keyword engagement (product page) |
| Keyword Listening across sources | Listening finds posts matching keyword searches on LinkedIn, Reddit, X, YouTube and podcasts (Listening vs Workflows) | Not offered. Valley's sources are LinkedIn signals, natural-language search and your own lists (product page) |
| Workflows to other tools | Builder with Agent nodes for relevance and sentiment, an If Condition node, an HTTP Request node to Clay, Google Sheets or Zapier, and native HubSpot, Attio, Salesforce and Airtable nodes (How do I get my data into Clay / my CRM) | No builder. A REST API, 19 webhook event types, a native Clay table sync, HubSpot via OAuth and an MCP server, on every plan (API and MCP page) |
| Qualification | AI agents judged relevance and sentiment inside a workflow | Each person checked against your ICP with the reasoning shown; you can correct a decision and re-check (product page) |
| Outreach | None. Trigify routed signals to sequencers and CRMs | LinkedIn connection requests and messages, plus email from your own inbox; drafts written in your voice for you to review before sending (product page) |
| What happens on a reply | Not applicable | "When someone replies, the sequence stops so you can pick up the conversation" (product page) |
| Entry price | Starter $40 a month with 4,000 credits; Max $199 a month (Plans & Pricing) | Starter $199 per seat per month, or $149 a month billed quarterly (pricing page) |
| Status | Access ends 22 October 2026 for standard customers (trigify.io) | Live; 7-day trial for eligible new subscribers, payment method required (pricing page) |
Three rows carry the decision: the first (which engagement Valley can see), the third (Listening) and the fourth (Workflows). The next two sections take them in that order.
Which Trigify jobs does Valley cover?
Competitor and industry post engagement, with outreach attached. This is the overlap, and Valley's own homepage draws it: in the section titled "All these jobs. One connected platform." it lists "Post engagement" with Trigify as the tool it folds in, next to Sales Navigator for lists and HeyReach for sequences (joinvalley.co). The post engagers page says capture "works on your posts and competitors'", that every engager is scored against your ICP first, and that only the ones that fit get researched and written to. For a Trigify monitor on a handful of competitor profiles with the "Liked competitor content" and "Commented on tracked content" signals switched on, that is the same input with the next three steps included.
The cap is the thing to check before you move. Valley's FAQ on that page says competitor engagement runs "on up to five monitored profiles". Trigify's setup guide says each plan caps how many profiles you can monitor and that Max and Enterprise have no profile cap (Set up Social Signals monitoring). If your Trigify monitor tracked thirty industry voices, Valley takes five of them.
Hiring and competitor-complaint signals. Two of Valley's four named audiences, companies hiring account executives and buyers complaining about competitors (product page), map to Trigify's "Company started hiring for relevant roles" signal and to a Listening search on competitor names, as far as LinkedIn is concerned.
Routing into HubSpot and Clay. Trigify's native HubSpot node and its HTTP Request node to Clay have counterparts: Valley connects HubSpot through OAuth and syncs to a Clay table, and its webhooks report replies, accepted connections and interest changes as JSON within seconds (API and MCP page). The direction is different, though: Trigify pushed any matching post; Valley pushes events about prospects it already qualified.
Which Trigify jobs does Valley not cover?
Listening across Reddit, X, YouTube and podcasts. Trigify's help centre describes Listening as the data source, with keyword searches that find matching posts on LinkedIn, Reddit, X, YouTube and podcasts (Listening vs Workflows). Nothing on Valley's product, pricing or API pages opened on 22 October 2026 mentions any of those sources. Valley's research step reads podcasts, X and YouTube to write a message to a person it already found (product page); that is not the same as finding people from those sources. If a Reddit or podcast search produced your best leads, read the Trigify alternative for social listening article, which covers that job separately.
The workflow builder. Trigify let you put an If Condition node before every integration, classify sentiment, enrich, then send rows anywhere that accepts a webhook (How do I get my data into Clay / my CRM). Valley has an API and webhooks but no visual builder of that kind on the pages opened. If the builder was the product for you, rebuilding Trigify workflows in Clay is the closer path.
Signal-only use. Trigify never sent messages; you took its output to whatever sequencer or CRM you preferred. Valley is priced per seat, and a seat is a LinkedIn account connected to Valley (per-seat pricing post). If you do not want to connect a LinkedIn account and only want the feed, Valley is the wrong shape, whatever its price.
Monitoring more than five competitor profiles. Covered above, and worth repeating because it is the most common Trigify setup.
What changes in the day-to-day?
Trigify was a feed. You launched a monitor, chose a cadence (daily by default, with a 30-day lookback on the first run; weekly; or hourly as a premium option), and signals appeared for review, with a Social Signals trigger that could fire a workflow to a CRM, Slack or a sequencer (What is Social Signals?). Writing and sending happened somewhere else.
Valley is a campaign. It finds people from a play or a list, checks each against your ideal customer profile and explains the match, researches them, drafts in your voice, and sends on LinkedIn, with email from your own inbox as an add-on on Starter and included from Plus (pricing page). You review, edit and approve drafts before they go out, and you pick the schedule and follow-up steps. When someone replies, the sequence stops so you can pick up the conversation (product page). Two habits change: you stop exporting and importing, and you start answering replies in Valley's inbox every day.
That second change is the one to price. Trigify users who ran the signal into HeyReach, Smartlead or a CRM already had a reply inbox somewhere. Moving to Valley means the inbox lives in Valley, and a reply waits for you. If you want the reply answered without you, see the Intentsly section below.
Settings map: Trigify to Valley
| What you had in Trigify | Where it goes in Valley | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Social Signals monitor on competitor profiles | A play on competitor post engagers, up to five monitored profiles (post engagers page) | Pick the five profiles that produced the most replies |
| "Liked tracked person content" / "Commented on tracked content" | Engagers on your own posts, captured continuously | Valley's page describes your own posts separately from the five competitor profiles |
| "Company started hiring for relevant roles" | The "companies hiring account executives" audience | Valley names the AE role; Trigify let you pick the role keywords |
| Listening search on competitor names (LinkedIn) | The "buyers complaining about competitors" audience | LinkedIn only in Valley |
| Listening search on Reddit, X, YouTube, podcasts | No equivalent | Keep a separate tool for this job |
| If Condition and Agent nodes | ICP qualification with the reasoning shown; correct and re-check | Rules become a profile description, not a node |
| HubSpot node | HubSpot via OAuth | On every plan (API and MCP page) |
| HTTP Request node to Clay | Native Clay table sync | Direction changes: Valley pushes qualified prospects, not raw posts |
| Attio, Salesforce, Airtable nodes | Webhooks or the REST API | No native nodes named on the pages opened |
| Enrichment inside a workflow (credits) | Finding prospects and verifying emails use credits; research, base writing, imports and LinkedIn sending are included (pricing page) | Email waterfall enrichment is on Plus and above |
Before you rebuild any of this, export from Trigify while you still have access: the target URLs in each monitor, the signal types you switched on, the saved Listening searches and their keywords, every workflow's node list and field mapping, and the signal history. Trigify's notice points to the export options already in the product and to hugo@trigify.io (trigify.io). Customers on longer notice periods have their own dates; everyone else is working against 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026.
What does each cost?
Trigify's homepage shows no prices; its help centre's Plans & Pricing article, opened on 22 October 2026, still lists Starter at $40 a month with 4,000 credits and 25 saved searches, Max at $199 a month with 40,000 credits and unlimited saved searches, and Enterprise at custom pricing, with an overage rate of $0.012 per credit on the two self-serve plans (Plans & Pricing). Subscriptions do not renew past the service end date, so the figure that matters is what the replacement costs.
Valley's pricing page, with prices updated on 19 October 2026, lists Starter at $199 per seat per month or $149 a month billed quarterly for LinkedIn only; Plus at $299 per seat per month with 1,000 email messages a month, an onboarding call, a customer success manager and waterfall enrichment; and Growth at $499 per seat per month with $300 in extra credits monthly. Above that sit Scale, custom-priced for five seats or more, and Done-For-You at $1,499 a month, currently on a waitlist (pricing page). Finding new prospects, finding and verifying emails and upgraded message generation use credits; research, base message writing, imports and LinkedIn sending are included. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial that needs a payment method.
So a $40 Trigify Starter becomes, at minimum, a $149 to $199 Valley seat (Valley pricing page). That is not like for like: Valley is also the sequencer and the writer. Add up what you paid for Trigify plus the tool you sent its output to, and compare that to one seat. Prices change; check both linked pages before you decide.
Where does Intentsly fit?
Intentsly is the third option for the same Social Signals job, and it sits between the two: it watches LinkedIn like Trigify did and sends like Valley does, but its AI SDR also holds the conversation. It collects the people who like, comment on or share posts from the competitors and industry leaders you name, people who post about the pain points and tools you track, followers and engagers of competitor pages, and hashtag engagement, then scores each person against your ideal customer profile and enriches them with a verified email. If you used a Trigify monitor to list engagers and then messaged them by hand, LinkedIn signals does that collection and scoring for you and the AI SDR sends the connection request and the message. When the lead replies, the AI SDR continues the LinkedIn conversation and sends your Cal.com or Google Calendar link so the lead books the meeting. We ran it on ourselves at launch, targeting founders posting about cold outreach burnout: 14 qualified demos in 14 days with zero manual outreach, and a reply rate 4x our previous cold campaigns.
Its limits, printed so the comparison is fair: LinkedIn is the only signal source, so Reddit, X, YouTube, podcasts and Hacker News are not covered. HubSpot is the only CRM integration, alongside Cal.com, Google Calendar and LinkedIn. Up to two LinkedIn accounts per workspace, each capped at 30 messages and 30 connection requests a day with 15 recommended. Leads and signals can be exported. The AI SDR sends LinkedIn messages only, no email. There is a 7-day free trial, and /try-ai shows matching buyers before you create an account. The Intentsly vs Valley comparison takes that pairing row by row.
Which should you pick?
If you monitored a few competitor profiles, want to approve every message, need email in the same sequence, use Clay or your own code through an API, or run several seats: Valley. If you monitored dozens of profiles, lived in Listening across Reddit, X, YouTube or podcasts, or built workflows you want to keep: neither Valley nor Intentsly; go to the hub and look at the listening and workflow replacements. If your buyers are on LinkedIn, you run one or two profiles, and you want the reply answered and the meeting booked without you in an inbox: Intentsly. If you want the tracker to send as well but prefer an agent you approve lead by lead, the Trigify vs Gojiberry comparison covers that pairing.
The shortest test takes a minute. Open /try-ai, which shows people matching your profile who are engaging on LinkedIn right now, no account needed. If that list looks like the Trigify feed you are losing, start the 7-day trial and let the AI SDR take the first conversations. If it looks thin, Valley's hiring and lead-magnet audiences are the better bet, and its 7-day trial is the next click.
FAQ
Does Valley replace Trigify?
For one job, yes: people who engage with competitor posts on LinkedIn, on up to five monitored profiles, with qualification, drafting and sending added (post engagers page). It does not replace Listening across Reddit, X, YouTube and podcasts or the workflow builder to Clay, Sheets, Airtable, Attio and Salesforce. Valley's own homepage lists Trigify under "Post engagement" as a tool it folds in, and nothing more.
Does Valley send messages automatically, or do I review them?
Valley drafts in your voice and its pricing FAQ says you review, edit and approve drafts before they go out, choosing the schedule and follow-up steps (pricing page). When someone replies, the sequence stops so you can pick up the conversation. If you want the reply handled without you, Intentsly's AI SDR holds the LinkedIn conversation and sends your calendar link.
How much does Valley cost compared with Trigify?
Trigify's help centre still lists Starter at $40 a month and Max at $199 a month (Plans & Pricing), but subscriptions do not renew past the end date. Valley lists Starter at $199 per seat per month or $149 a month billed quarterly, Plus at $299 and Growth at $499 per seat, with a 7-day trial that needs a payment method (pricing page).
Can Valley monitor competitor LinkedIn posts like Trigify did?
Yes, within a cap. Valley's post engagers page says capture works on your posts and competitors', and its FAQ puts competitor monitoring at up to five profiles (post engagers page). Trigify's Max and Enterprise plans had no profile cap. If you tracked more than five, shortlist the five that produced replies or look at a tool without that limit.
What should I export from Trigify before access ends?
The target URLs and signal types in each monitor, every saved Listening search with its keywords, each workflow's node list and field mapping, and the signal history you want to keep. Trigify's notice says to use the export options already in the product and to contact hugo@trigify.io for help (trigify.io). Standard customers have until 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026; others get their dates directly.
What about Reddit, X and podcast listening?
Neither Valley nor Intentsly finds people from those sources on the pages opened on 22 October 2026. Valley reads podcasts, X and YouTube only to research a person it already found (product page), and Intentsly's signals are LinkedIn only. The Trigify alternative for social listening article covers tools for that job.
